{"id":1588,"date":"2021-06-02T12:19:53","date_gmt":"2021-06-02T10:19:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/?p=1588"},"modified":"2023-05-30T13:03:13","modified_gmt":"2023-05-30T11:03:13","slug":"un-proyecto-mejorara-la-eficiencia-energetica-para-distribuir-el-agua-en-redes-en-palma-del-rio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/en\/un-proyecto-mejorara-la-eficiencia-energetica-para-distribuir-el-agua-en-redes-en-palma-del-rio\/","title":{"rendered":"A project will improve energy efficiency to distribute water in networks in Palma del R\u00edo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>He\u00a0<strong>redawn project<\/strong>, a European initiative to promote efficiency in water networks, and organized by Feragua and the Watef group from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, has served to launch its pilot plant in Spain, located in the estate\u00a0<strong>Calonge farmhouse,<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eldiadecordoba.es\/tag\/palma_del_rio\/\">palm of the river<\/a>.<\/em><\/p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1589\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/image-2.png 300w, https:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/image-2-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/image-2-80x80.png 80w, https:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/image-2-100x100.png 100w, https:\/\/cortijocalonge.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/image-2-96x96.png 96w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div><p>The aforementioned initiative is a European innovation project of\u00a0<strong>three years duration<\/strong>\u00a0which studies how to improve energy efficiency in water distribution networks in the Atlantic area through innovative technology based on the use of microturbines and reverse pumps. Endowed with a\u00a0<em>budget of 2.9 million euros<\/em>, co-financed by the Feder funds through the program\u00a0<em>Interreg Atlantic Area<\/em>.<\/p><p>Among the Spanish partners are the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eldiadecordoba.es\/tag\/universidad_de_cordoba\/\">University of Cordoba<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013which will define the technical requirements and develop the field research\u2013 and the Association of Irrigation Communities of Andalusia (Feragua).<\/p><p>Through this project, the&nbsp;<strong>possibilities of mini-hydraulic energy in the water networks of the Atlantic area<\/strong>, including supply networks, industry networks and irrigation networks.
